Nearly 100 Years in Virginia

Carter Myers Automotive was founded as Petersburg Motor Company in 1924 in Petersburg, Virginia, by H. Carter Myers. Nearly 100 years later, Liza Myers Borches - representing the fourth generation of the Myers family - is our President and CEO.

CMA has a rich history in Virginia and in the automotive industry. What started as a single Ford dealership has expanded to include 16 dealerships and 17 service centers with nearly 700 associates throughout Virginia.

CMA's Valley Subaru donates blankets to UVA Cancer Center

CMA's Valley Subaru has donated more than 100 blankets and over 30 care kits for patients at the UVA Cancer Center Augusta location.

There were also handwritten notes from CMA employees and customers giving the patients some words of encouragement. Some notes featured messages stating, “Not all heroes wear capes”, “You’re amazing”, and “Stay strong”.

2023 Cars & Cans Food Drive

Thank you to everyone for your efforts to make our annual Cars and Cans food drive campaign a success! Overall, we were able to donate 9,770 meals to our local communities! What an amazing accomplishment we were able to achieve! Thank you for helping us Move Lives Forward in our communities!
